Apály idején gyalogosan könnyen megközelíthető nevezetesség a Mont-Saint-Michel sziget. Az egész egy erődítmény és falu egyben, templommal a tetején. Kívülről nem látszik, de nagyon sokan vannak bent, a szűk utcákon hatalmas a tömeg. Pár óra alatt végigsétálható a várfal és a főbb látványosságok.

The island of Mont-Saint-Michel is easily available by walking during low tide. It is a fortress and a village at the same time, with church on the top. Cannot see from outside, but so many people are inside, the narrow streets are super crowded. One can walk around the walls and meet the major sightseeing points within few hours.
